Sports - Sailing

I learned to sail in an "Optimist" - a small boat for kids with a single sail. To increase speed I moved to windsurfing after about six years but continued to sail larger yachts occasionally. In Switzerland I received windsurfing and sailing licences on Lago Maggiore.

This year I joined a 2-week gay sailing trip in Greece with a group from Männer Natürlich. Setting out from Kalamaki Marina (Athens) we visited many ports and islands in the Saronic and Argolic Gulfs along the coast of the Peloponnisos. We explored sites of ancient Greek architecture, enjoyed romantic walks, and had dinner every night at restaurants that were quite lovely.
(Retsina does take a little getting used to, though...)
